Let's Get Started

I have always loved writing, it truly is a passion of mine.  I find writing down my thoughts always clears my head and makes me feel better. It is an escape from reality and let's face it right now I need some sort of escape from my reality.  My husband was one of the people who fell victim to the COVID-19 virus.  It really has been a crazy two and a half months. First self isolation, getting the positive test results, calling 911, daily status update phone calls, intubation, major and minor setbacks, surgery, getting the phone call no one wants to get...he went into cardiac arrest and didn't make it, and now the grieving process and just trying to move forward with my life.  The past two and a half months I have been on the wildest and craziest journey of my life and yet my journey has only begun. So I go back to my love of writing, why not share my story, my feelings, the ups and downs I have each day? Maybe I will inspire or help someone in a similar situation, maybe I will connect with people who understand exactly what I am going through, or maybe this will help me workout all the different feelings I have.  All I know is I have a story to tell and I want to be able to share it with all of you.

  2. Hi Pam - this is Kinsley (from little gym)’s mom, Jillian. I’ve been thinking about you and your little ones so much but didn’t know a way to message you. I want you to know I will never forget our Saturday mornings with your family at Little Gym. Martin was the best sport. He was there with Elsie every Saturday morning and would get SO into every silly exercise or activity. He was so proud of the progress she made over the year and was her number one cheerleader, lovingly affirming her every move. I will miss seeing him as part of our Saturday morning routine. While we hadn’t spoke much, we were always busy running after the littles, there was always an unspoken bond as we were the consistent staples of Saturday morning.
Please know that our family is here for you and yours. I’d love to do a play date with Kinsley and Elsie when and if you’d like.
Also, very inspired by your ability to share your experience through this forum. You will rise up!
Talk soon and be well, xo Jillian
